I'm so excited. =D Many of you who know me know that I play volleyball. Much more of those who know me know that I'm really tall for my age. (Six feet at 14. ;P) Well, at club volleyball tryouts, I was miniature compared to some of the giants that came.
I did fairly well, regardless, but ended up being placed on a lower court. I ended the day not even sure I'd get on a team.
So, within an hour I get a phone call.
It's one of the 16's coaches (my level is 15's) asking if I'd like to be on the second 16's team. o.o Whoa. Understand, it is extremely rare to play up, no one else my age in the club has gotten the offer.
=D I'm so happy. It's the second team, but hell, it counts as one up to the 15-1's, where those taller girls are. I'm flattered. =]
Speaking of volleyball . . . as I enter into the season (it'll be awhile, though), I may miss some updates for tournaments. I'll try to pencil and ink some strips there, but I can't possibly bring my whole marker set or do a lot of work. I'll alert you on the weekends where I'll be having a tournament that could interfere, but I don't expect that many of them. ;]
Yay! Back to Alex! This week's comic is . . . well, not that great once I colored it. It looked awesome penciled and inked, but it's like it . . . lost something. )= Too late to change it, though. Oh well. I'm running out of background ideas for this stupid room. Thank God I'm almost out of it. I wish I'd made it more colorful. Dx
Oh! I almost forgot, my new job should be starting soon, and then I hope to get some more people here. Because I'm greedy for attention. D=
